I survived the first day of Gamma Cycle but the next few days are going to be rough.
This about summed up my day with Gamma Cycle and Speed 3.0
So, just finished watching the first video in the Gamma Cycle, Speed 3.0.
Oh Crap! That’s all I can say. First no modifications, what! Second Holy Crap. I think I might die. I’ll let you how tomorrow goes. Wish me luck.
On Thursday night I attended the outdoor yoga session along the river trail. Up until then I had only been to 8 yoga classes and all of them were taught by the same person. Liz is awesome and I love her classes and have developed an appreciation for yoga that I definitely did not have before attending her classes.
The Thursday night classes are being taught by a different instructor each week. This past week Sarah was our instructor. I enjoyed the class a lot but was a completely different style than that of Liz. Sarah’s style was definitely a lot more intense than Liz’s. We did a lot of poses that were challenging and would hold them for quite a while. Along with the challenging poses we were doing some serious balance poses. I need to work on my balance clearly after seeing how I performed those balance moves. Let’s just say balance was not with me on Thursday night.
It was a great class I was exhausted afterwards and work up a sweat I did. I know that I got a great workout in. It was also great to experience a completely different style of teaching yoga.
I attended class with Liz this morning as well. I’m going to have to find myself a yoga studio as soon as I get to VA because I am really enjoying this. So anyone in the Hampton Roads area of VA if you know of a good yoga studio be sure to let me know.
Today was my last day of T25 Beta Cycle. What! What! Yes, I’ve done a T25 workout Monday through Friday for the last 10 weeks.
I’m super stoked about all that I’ve accomplished. There were definitely days where I thought I would never make it through the 25 minutes and days where I cried during those double day Fridays. But, I stuck with it pushed through and did it. I’m definitely stronger than I was at the start and my endurance is much higher. All of the work an sweat, there has been lots of sweat has been worth it.
Monday I’ll start the Gamma Cycle, and well I’m terrified. I mean some of the names are Speed 3.0, The Pyramid, and Extreme Circuit. Yikes!
I’ve yet to watch any of the videos but I’ll be checking them out this weekend. Which is either a good thing so it gives me an idea of what I’m in for, or it’s a terrible idea because I’ll see what I’m in for.
Here’s to a 4 week round of Gamma Cycle and an even stronger me.
I started the day off with some T25 Beta Cycle. And, yes friends it still kicks my a$$. I enjoy it, and I can endure and get through anything for 25 minutes. I say that now, but ask me that question when I start the Gamma Cycle my answer may be different.
Tonight is the 2nd week of Outdoor Yoga along the river trail. So I’m making myself a late lunch early dinner so that I’m not famished by the time the class is over at 6:30. I’m excited and a little nervous about the class. This will be my first yoga class since I started with a different instructor. I really like Liz and her classes so it’ll be fun to see how Sarah teaches her class and how I feel about it after.
And, once my yoga class is over I’ll be sprinting out of there to head to some BASEBALL!!! It will be my first game in a month. The 2 weeks I was away were all home games so they have been on the road until tonight. I’m excited to see the Fish in action. I’ll be a few minutes late, but hey it’s a baseball game they last hours.
So as you can see it really is a day of a little of this and a little of that.
It was a rainy day here which means I spent way to much time curled up in my favorite chair with my book and a cup of tea. Needless to say I’m getting my steps in now.
We are getting some pretty crazy thunderstorms here in Wyoming tonight.
I love a good thunderstorm, and tonight we are having them.
I’m getting Emergency Alerts on my phone and on tv. It’s crazy town.
I’ve been doing my workouts and getting my steps in, but other than that I’ve been doing a wile lot of nothing. It’s time to get motivated and serious again.
I attended the fair and rodeo tonight with my friend Crysy. It was a good time. Only one person was injured so overall that’s a pretty good night. I mean they are riding bulls and bucking broncs, how every single one of them is not carted out of the arena is beyond me. The bull rider that got hurt did walk out of the arena with some help so hopefully it’s not too bad.
Walking around the fair helped get in some activity and steps, oh and the not to mention that I park at the bank and walk the quarter mile or so into the fair. It’s. Nice walk and a whole lot easier to get out when it’s time to leave.
Along with walking around the fair and enjoying the rodeo I attended my Saturday morning yoga class, which was a good one. We did some ab work today and I’m sure I’ll be feeling it tomorrow. I also did some house cleaning and straightening up. We have an open house scheduled tomorrow, so have to make the house look good. I still have to mow the dogs’ yard in the morning, which shouldn’t take too long, vacuum the kitchen, and do the mopping. But other than that the house is ready for showing.
Overall it’s been a pretty busy active day.
Here’s hoping for some down time tomorrow.
