What is it that I’m so excited about you ask. I will tell you. Now, I’m not a BeachBody coach nor am I encouraging you to join them or anything like that. I’m not a Shakeology person, never tried the stuff and don’t care too I don’t check out their challenges or anything like that.
But, I am a Shaun T fan. Hip Hop Abs, yup I love it. Insanity, holy mother of pearl does that nonsense work. T25 love love love it. I’ve done all 3 of these workout programs designed by Shaun T and love them. Okay, I love it when I finished the days workout during the workout I’m cursing Shaun T up a storm, asking why he hates me, but I love it. I really enjoy his “training” style and the workout I get from his programs. Everyone of his programs that I’ve done I’ve seen results. They work! Insanity and T25 even with not eating the best I saw inches come off and I definitely got stronger, which was what I was looking for.
Well now Mr Shaun T has a new program coming out called Cize, and it’s all about dance. I’m totally stoked for this. I love going to Zumba class and well this is Shaun T so I can just imagine how serious this is going to get. I’ve seen some previews of the program and it looks like lots of fun. It’s called Cize the end of exercise since they say you won’t even realize you’re exercising. I’m down for that.
So, as you can imagine Monday I’ll be ordering my copy of Cize and trying it out. I’m basically like a kid at Christmas waiting for the opportunity to get my hands on it. Of course even after I order it I’ll still be waiting for it to arrive on my doorstep. And, man if it’s not available on Amazon I’ll be waiting even longer for it as the shipping from BeachBody is nowhere near as quick as Amazon Prime. Yeah, I’m getting excited and worked up about it all at once.
How about you are there any at home workouts that you absolutely love and have to have?
Today, I did a lot of vegging out. I caught up on some TiVoed shows and read a bit of my book.
However, tomorrow it’s time to return to serious work. Starting the day off with a little T25 Alpha Phase.
I’m also planning on hitting up a Zumba class in the afternoon followed by a yoga class. Then it’ll be home for a shower some dinner and then bed. I’m sure I’ll be exhausted.
Spent the day at the zoo and got in lots of steps. Good thing too since I morrow will be 12 hours spent in the car. But, hey it’s the last leg of the trip and tomorrow night I will be home sleeping in my own bed. And, then it’s back to yoga, T25, running, and looking at starting Krav Maga. Time to get my butt moving and in shape.
And, these guys were getting a bit frisky at the zoo today. I’m thinking there may be a baby in a few months.
We’ve been doing a lot of driving the last few weeks. The drive out from Wyoming 2 weeks ago. We headed up to NY this weekend for a wedding. And, now we are headed for Florida for a few days to take care of a few things there before the husband heads back overseas.
So needless to say my butt has been spending a lot of time sitting in a car. And, well this means I haven’t been doing a lot of moving. Well unless you count doing some rocking out in the car.
I can’t wait for next week where I won’t be traveling and I can start running again and start kicking ass at T25 again. I’m also looking into doing some Krav Maga classes. Yeah I can’t wait to check a class at. I’m sure my ass will thoroughly be kicked.
Every time I think I’m almost done packing I realize how much more there is to do. Ughhhh! Can’t wait till this move is over.
But, on another note T25 Cardio a Speed had it’s ass kicked by me this morning.
Today was the last day of Gamma Cycle. And, all I have to say is thank goodness. This was by far my biggest and hardest challenge. Days of strength training in a row just aren’t for me. But, I did it. I completed it, I powered through and pushed myself beyond what I thought I could do.
So, with today I’ve officially completed all of Focus T25. Yeah that’s right I completed all 3 cycles of T25. I’m pretty stoked about it.
Granted I’ve finished T25 doing a lot of modified versions, but still nonetheless I completed it.
The plan for the next couple of weeks I’ll be doing all of the cardio workouts offered by T25, and once the move is complete I’ll start over on the Alpha Cycle. And, I’m really hoping that I’ll be doing very few modified exercises. I want to push myself even harder this time around. And, well if I can make it through Gamma, Alpha should be nothing.
The past 2 days I’ve gotten back into my groove. I do my T25 workout and have been following it up with a 45 minute aerobics class.
I think this is what I’ve been missing since starting the Gamma Cycle. I’m a cardio fan, and not so much for the strength training, and with this cycle it’s been killing me. 4 out of 5 days is strength focused and only 1 day with a real focus on cardio.
I’m exhausted after the T25 workout, but I can plow through the aerobics class and I’m feeling a heck of a lot better after.
Once we get settled in our new home I’m really going to have to work on finding the balance between the 2. I hate strength training but like I’ve said before I’m noticing a difference in my body and I want to keep it up.
Along with those 2 workouts I’ve been ending my nights with an hour yoga class. I can’t believe how much I’m coming to enjoy yoga. It’s been a lot if fun and I hope that I find a new studio with an instructor as much as I love my current one once we move. Because, I definitely want to continue with the yoga.
Tomorrow’s Friday!!!!!! Can’t wait for some fun filled weekend plans.
Gamma Phase is no joke. 5 days where 4 of them are weight training with a lot of focus on upper body. Well let’s just say it makes the as feel like Jello. Add in that with packing, lifting, and moving boxes and well let’s just say I’ll be glad when this week is over. My upper body needs a rest from this work.
Along with the last week of Gamma Phase being this week, I’m also doing 3, 1-hour yoga classes. The first being tomorrow night. Yup I have a feeling I won’t be enjoying downward dog very much.
But, hey my arms are slowly and I mean slowly getting some definition to them. So it’s worth it.
Today I finished up week 3 of Gamma Phase, and being that Gamma Phase is only 4 weeks instead of 5 I’ve got 1 week left. All I have to say is thank goodness. My arms, butt, and legs are feeling this.
After I finish this cycle I’m going to be rotating the cardio videos for a few weeks. Since my husband comes home, we pack up our house, drive cross country and move ourselves into a new home. Things will be busy busy here and I feel that starting over May not be fit in as well as just sticking to the cardio.
However, after getting settled in our new home I’ll be starting back at Alpha Phase and I’m hoping to see some major improvements and hope to not be modifying the workouts as much.
I may curse you Shaun T but I really do love your workouts.
Week 2 of Gamma is done. And, I’ll be the first to say that those 25 minutes of every day kick my ass and make me push myself, but I’m kicking Gamma’s ass!!!!
After I finish this cycle I’m going to start the whole program over and hopefully sometime soon I’ll be doing no modifications.
