Holy Exhaustion

I had a class this morning and lots of errands to run afterwards.

After getting home this afternoon I sat down to watch the news and passed out for 45 minutes. Not a long nap by any means but was definitely not planning on falling asleep.

I woke up and was like yup I’m done with the day forget being any further productivity coming from me. Which is awful because I have a lot to do. This weekend will be spent cleaning, organizing, and getting the house back in order as it’s gotten a bit out of control the last week or two.

I also have a photo project I need to work on which means I need to get stuff set up for that as well.

I see an early night for this girl.

But, hey the weekend is here!!!!

Lazy Day

I worked today and so there wasn’t a whole ton of activity going on. I mean I was playing on the floor with the baby and there was lots of going from room to room for diaper changes and nap time but nothing major.

I’m also spent it’s been a busy week. With the husband coming home, birthday celebration, Junior League events, working, and doing some stuff with friends. I’m warn out. And, I thought I’d have tomorrow to catch up on household chores and some sleep, but I’m working instead. Which, hey I’ll take the money so it’s a good thing it just means everything will wait another day.

Here’s hoping I’m a bit more active tomorrow.

Now That Was A Walk

Today the husband and I set out to do a large portion of the River Walk here in town.
We headed out this morning and did nearly the whole thing. Only problem with this is it is not a loop, which means you need to go back the way you came.
We started at one end and walked all but the last 1.75 miles of the trail. We had a time issue, one and where we needed to get back to the car so that we could pick up the dogs, and well I knew I’d be spent. The walk ended up being just over 12.5 miles. It was a great day for it. The weather was perfect not too hot and the sun was beating down at ungodly force.
We’ve already started talking about doing one of the other parts of the trail. Maybe early next week.
I love having the paths here to walk. Nice relaxing and surrounded by nature. Of course I say this now, but the first time I run into a snake on the path, I’ll be screaming a different tune about nature. Yeah I HATE snakes.
Happy Friday! Tomorrow we are thinking about taking the dogs to the dog park to do some running, swimming, and just general using up some energy.
